Location: Crossroads Fellowship Reformed Church, 1200 60th St, West Des Moines, IA (or the West Des Moines home of the workshop presenter, depending upon number of participants)
Tuition and Materials Fee: $110.00 (Tuition) + $40.00 (Materials fee). Payments via *check, money order or cash only. Immediate family members who attend together and live in the same household may share one set of materials.
*There is a charge of $35.00 for returned checks.

Simply Music is a remarkable, Australian-developed piano and keyboard program that believes that everyone - without exception - is profoundly and innately musical. Simply Music draws on and feeds this natural sense of music we all possess, and places highest priority on the fun and sheer pleasure of playing music. Students ‘learn a new way of learning,’ that uses a subtle balance between guidance, discovery and direct ‘hands-on’ playing experience.
The ‘You Can Play-Today!’ workshop is designed for students who would like to get a sense of how our program works. It is perfect as a starting point for beginning students, but is also excellent for students with prior experience who wish to use it as a way to broaden their repertoire and expand their foundation of learning.
Although we don’t introduce music reading at the workshop, it does give students an outstanding 'head-start'. In a matter of hours, students will learn to play five real songs in an array of musical styles, including: classical, gospel, contemporary, blues and accompaniment- with both hands together!
As a special bonus, the audiovisual materials that are included will provide students with the guidance to learn six additional great-sounding songs at home!

Choose a One or Two-Day Event!
Each option includes short breaks and light refreshments. A parent must attend with a child between the ages of 10-15 years.
(A) Two Day Event:
Part 1: Friday, January 23 from 6:00-8:30 pm
Part 2: Saturday, January 24 from 1:00-3:15 pm
(B) One Day Event:
Part 1: Saturday, January 24 from 9:00 am-11:30 pm
Part 2: We'll start at 1:00 pm sharp and will end at 3:15 pm
Lunch break from11:30-12:50. Lunch will not be provided and participants will not be allowed to remain at the building during lunch break.
